From Australia to New Zealand

We ended our time in Australia with a rugby match. It was quite interesting, to say the least. I never did quite catch on to the rules but could see that it is a bloody sport. We were able to walk to the stadium from our hotel and it was a beautiful evening.

We were in the nose-bleed section.

The bridge back to our hotel. It looks like this scene is painted on the bridge but it is actually projected onto it. I argued and argued with Kim that it had to be painted on because it wrapped around the sides. Of course, he was right.

View from the bridge.

Today was spent travelling from Brisbane, AU to Christchurch NZ. We got to the airport about 7 this morning and arrived in Christchurch at 7:30 this evening. It is cold and windy tonight. I hope the weather is better for the beginning of our trek tomorrow.

  1. It looks like they have pretty good crowds at the rugby games. I would be like you. Not sure I know enough about it. Again the lights at night look so pretty. We had a wonderful time at our games and those I DO understand. It rained so hard all afternoon on Sunday I didn't think there was anyway they were going to play the game. But it quit around 3:30-4:00 and they worked on the field and got it ready and game started right on time with not another drop on us. It was perfect.
